Is Katlego Otladisa Being Loaned Out to Another Club?
A representative for Orlando Pirates winger, Katlego Otladisa, has spoken out regarding the possibility of his client transferring to a different club.
Last month, reports indicated that both Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City were interested in securing the 28-year-old winger’s signature, albeit on a loan basis.
“For now, I can tell you that both Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City have inquired about Katlego,” a source explained to a local media outlet at the time. “It’s actually a loan request and they would want to have him in January.”
In an interview with another soccer outlet on Thursday, 14 November, Nimrod Mbahlati – Otladisa’s representative – confirmed that the possibility of a loan was explored, but ultimately, no arrangements were made.
“About him going out on a loan, we had a conversation about that with [Pirates’] management in the previous window, and nothing materialised,” Mbahlati explained.
Otladisa has yet to feature for the Bucs this season, but Mbahlati says that his client is focused on training hard and continuing to develop his skills within the team.
“He is performing well in the friendly games and patiently waiting for his chance to come, and I believe once it comes, he will grab it with both hands.”
